Martifer Solar, a subsidiary of Martifer SGPS, SA, has signed a strategic agreement with the company for Sunflower EPC implementation and management of O & M 13 MW of photovoltaic . After completing
as EPC contractor for two plants of 2.1 MW each in the province of Alessandria, Martifer Solar Sunflower and agreed to strengthen their cooperation in Italy by signing a binding agreement.
These facilities are part of a broader portfolio that Sunflower is developing in Italy from 2010 and will totalmente autorizzato entro febbraio 2011.
Dopo la fase di costruzione, anche la fase di Operation & Maintenance sarà gestita da Martifer Solar, che sta accrescendo il suo team specializzato nel monitorare e assicurare la manutenzione preventiva e correttiva della totalità degli impianti realizzati per Sunflower dal 2010.
Pedro Pereira, Amministratore Delegato di Martifer Solar Italia, ha affermato che “Siamo molto contenti del gratificante segno di fiducia che Sunflower ha riposto in noi tramite la firma di questo accordo vincolante, a seguito della costruzione dei due impianti piemontesi”. I due impianti, di circa 2,1 MW ciascuno, che Martifer Solar ha realizzato per Sunflower ad Alessandria si sono concluded in record time and are currently waiting for a connection to the network.
Pedro Pereira adds that "In order to complete these installations (Alexandria) by the end of 2010, we had to demonstrate his ability to do our best in terms of flexibility and speed, without compromising the quality standards that our customers expect from us. Martifer Solar has built over 31 MW of photovoltaic plants in Italy and expects to exceed twice the power so far installed by the end of 2011.
