L 'Arge Alp , the Working Community of Alpine, has published a few days ago, a competition to reward municipalities mainly engaged in the use of renewable energy. The purpose of the notice is to evaluate the potential for producing energy from renewable sources in the Alps. The ban affects plants microidroelettrici (up to 10 MW of nominal power), biogas plants, power plants power plants in biomass (solid biomass), biomass heating plants (solid biomass), individual plant biomass, liquid biomass (only for heat, not mobility), solar thermal, photovoltaic and wind turbines.
may participate in the municipalities of the ten regions of the ARGE Alp: Free State of Bavaria, Länder Vorarlberg, Tyrol and Salzburg, Lombardy Region, the Autonomous Province of Bolzano and the Autonomous Province of Trento, canton Graubünden, St Gallen and Ticino.
3 prizes will be awarded for a total of 20,000 €.
Applications may be submitted by March 31, 2011.
